For families

You need support too.

Addiction affects every relationship around the person. Families are a fundamental part of recovery at Kripa.

Recovery happens in relationship

Move from fear and conflict towards clarity.

Kripa helps families understand addiction as an illness without excusing harmful behaviour. Sessions address co-dependency, communication, conflict, coping skills and the practical work of reintegration.

If the person is not yet willing to stop, the family can still begin. A structured intervention can create an honest opportunity to accept treatment.

What families and residents say

★★★★★
I came only to detox for a week, knowing I was spiritually, mentally and physically bankrupt. Once inside, I stayed the full four months. It became my gurukul, and today I am alive to share this with you all. It is the place for anyone who wants a life filled with joy, peace and happiness, free of alcohol and drugs.

Take part in recovery

Family education and counselling build the conditions for healthier life after treatment.

Kripa may be a good fit when

  • A residential stay of around four months is possible
  • The person is open to an abstinence-based, 12-Step approach
  • Medical detoxification may be needed
  • The family is willing to participate
  • A structured daily routine is acceptable

A shorter route may not be enough when

  • Only a few days of detox are being considered
  • There is no plan for follow-through
  • The person cannot step away for residential care
  • Family involvement is not yet possible

Call us. We will be honest about whether Kripa is the right next step.
